Morris Gollub

What inspired me to start this blog was my new book about artist Morris (Moe) Gollub. From a child I was inspired to play in the woods at the end of my street by the Dell Tarzan comics in the early fifties. I loved the comic covers painted by Morris Gollub though at the time I did not know who painted them. Now I am engaged in the project of writing about those covers and the many others painted by Moe. I am hoping that there are people out there who can help verify his work and that of the other great painters from that era. Most of the time they were not able to sign their work for various reasons. I am looking forward to hearing any ideas or information on this subject.

This is a cover by Moe Gollub and a samplel of his beautiful work for Western Publishing. He deserves to be recognized for his amazing creations.
